Download and convert YouTube videos to iPod for free

I had the same problem before, that is, until, through research, I came across the YouTube Downloader. It's a small software that is easy to install on your computer and it really works.

I have been using it for the past 4 months now and I was able to enjoy my favorite videos on YouTube offline and when downloaded to my MP4 player, I can carry share it with my friends.

Here's how it works:

• First, download the file from this link: http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/
• Then, Install it on your computer.
• After Installation, open up http://www.youtube.com/ and look up your favorite video, Click to load the video.
• Once the video has loaded, copy the URL or the stuff that is written on the address bar at the top of your YouTube page
• Open up YouTube Downloader and paste it on the upper bar, it automatically populates most of the time
• Save the file to your computer, preferably the desktop, so you can find it easily. It downloads and has a ".flv" extension.
• Once the download process is done, on YouTube Downloader choose the option to convert videos, and load the file that you have just downloaded from YouTube (the ".flv" file).
• Choose from the drop down list into which type you would like to convert it too, in your case, IPod video.
• And then just press the button and your done.

Some quick notes:

• Sometimes after loading the file, it might look like that it's not working, give it a few seconds and it will load.
• You can download videos from YouTube, Google Video, MySpaceTV and many others.
• You can convert the file into different file types for your Ipod, Iphone, PSP, Cell Phone, Windows Media, XVid.
• You can strip the video off the file and convert it to MP3.
